Participants must submit a 5-slide PowerPoint (PPT) presentation outlining their idea. If there is any working prototype, then please make a video and upload the video link during team registration.
Recommended Presentation Structure
Slide 1: Team & Institution Details
- Name of the Institute/University
- Institute/University Logo
- Team Name (if applicable)
- Names & roles of team members
- Contact details (email & phone number of team leader)
Slide 2: Problem Statement
- Clearly define the problem/challenge the team is addressing.
- Explain why it is important and how it impacts society, industry, or technology.
- Provide relevant statistics or real-world examples to support the problem's significance.
Slide 3: Proposed Solution
- Describe the core idea/innovation of your solution.
- Explain how it solves the problem and what makes it unique.
- Mention any technologies (AI, Blockchain, IoT, etc.) used in the solution.
Slide 4: Feasibility & Impact
- Highlight the practicality and scalability of the solution.
- Discuss the potential impact on society, business, or the environment.
- Mention any expected benefits or improvements over existing solutions.
Slide 5: Implementation & Future Scope
- Outline a basic plan for implementing the idea.
- Mention possible challenges & risks and how they will be addressed.
- Future roadmap – how the project can be further developed or commercialized.
Additional Submission Requirements
File Format
Submit your presentation in PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) format. Maximum file size: 10MB. Please ensure all fonts are embedded to avoid formatting issues.
Prototype Video
If you have a working prototype, create a 2-3 minute demonstration video. Upload to YouTube or Vimeo and provide the link during registration. The video should clearly show how your solution works.
Category Selection
Choose the category that best fits your project. If your solution spans multiple categories, select the primary one and mention secondary categories in your presentation.
Naming Convention
Name your presentation file using the format: TeamName_InstitutionName_Category.pptx. For example: GreenTech_MIT_CleanEnergy.pptx
Important Notes
All submissions must be original work created during the hackathon period. Plagiarism or use of pre-existing projects will result in disqualification. Submissions must be received by the deadline of May 10, 2025, 11:59 PM EDT. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
